A colorful George Marinko (b. 1908---d. 1989) cubist abstract watercolor on paper of Waterbury, CT, signed "Marinko" lower right, c. 1940.  Marinko is a very important American Surrealist who worked in various styles and media. 

Exhibited at MOMA's 1936 groundbreaking "Fantastic Art, Dada & Surrealism, winning a prize.
