Pair Black Forest Hall or Side Chairs

Pair of Black Forest style oval shaped, carved back hall or side chairs, having a hand-carved pierced foliate design, incorporating an inlaid medallion with Alpine animals & a classic mountain figure, over a platform seat, having a large, similar inlaid medallion; on carved cabriole legs. Circa 1880.  Dimensions: 36" H x 18 1/4' W x 16" D.
