Japanese Satsuma Scalloped Edge Shallow Bowl

A heavily enameled, finely executed Japanese scalloped edge shallow bowl, the center decorated with courtesans and children at play, surrounded by a brocade band, the inner edge decorated with abstract floral motifs and the outer edge with a floral and star design.  Meiji Period, c. 1900.   Dimensions:  2" H x 5 3/4" Diameter.
