A 19th Century Chinese hand-hammered, hinged-cover brass valuables box inset with camphorwood; on amber glass bead shape feet, decorated with jade applique panels (depicting foo dogs) and a carved jade medallion top (the medallion having an old repair).  China, c. 1880.  Dimensions: 3 1/2" H x 5 1/2" W x 3 3/4" D.
