Aesthetic Movement Eastlake style walnut. swiveling fire screen within a carved, pierced fleus-dis-lis decorated frame, supported by carved, squared columns, topped by finials;  all on triangular shaped legs,  the screen, an old needlepoint coat-of-arms with a fleur-dis-lis motif, inscribed:   "RE E MERITO," behind glass.  American: c. 1870.  Dimensions: 46" H x 30" W x 16.25" D.
