Rare American Aesthetic Period Highly Carved Walnut Pedestal

A rare American Aesthetic Period highly carved walnut pedestal, having an applied bell-drop (4) apron with connecting dowel stretchers, over a multi-motif carved, turned column, on a stepped, squared plinth, over bun feet.  Probably of Philadelphia origin, c. 1830.  Dimensions: 32.5" H x 12" W x 12" D.
