Japanese Cloisonne Box

A spectacular Japanese Imperial yellow cloisonne enamel presentation or valuables box, the hinged cover and four side panels decorated with stylized chrysanthemum flowers (Emperor's symbol), the gilt metal interior beautifully worked with an incised bamboo & bird design; on brass bracket feet. Inaba School attribution, possibly Inaba Nanaho, unsigned, c. 1930.   Dimensions: 3 1/2" D x 6 1/4" W x 2 3/4" H.
