18th C. Chinese Lacquered Cabinet

An impressive 18th C. Chinese black lacquered cabinet with chinoiserie & gilt decoration (both inside and out), featuring classic Cantonese garden scenery, having double doors opening to a bank of eleven drawers of varying sizes, surrounded by a cupboard with door, resting on a raised platform; original hardware throughout, including lock and key.  China (for the English market), c. 1780--1800.   Dimensions:  20" D x 40.5" W x 41.5" H.
